"my male friend wife"
My male friend recently celebrated his wedding anniversary. But instead of being happy for him, I really feel so sad for him. the reason why I would feel sad for this male friend is because of His wife - who is actually a very violent woman herelf and she has threatened on suicide even for multiple times to prevent my friend from leaving her. Later, the man (my friend), being a cheapskate, got pregnant without using any condom and my friend have to marry her due to she is pregnant carrying my friend embryo in her tummy. My friend and his married wife only stayed together for so years because of having their own child, who will become an adult in a few years. My friend wife has become self-destructive, unpredictable, and emotionally unstable. Most importantly, my friend and his wife are becoming increasingly incompatible. Is this how my friend and his wife are going to live in for the rest of both their own life? Every of their family argument involves their own child. It is just like a movie; how many decades does one have in a lifetime? My friend is wondering if he and his wife should separate. My friend should not have pitied his wife in the first place. But now bringing her together out feels like my friend is dragging a fat aunt out in public; it is really exhausting, especially when my friend and his wife are traveling overseas in foreign countries. My friend wife would also constantly forces my friend to bring other children along, saying to her own child, "Why do you have to bring other children?" My friend is struggling with whether or not should he himself to get a divorce. From what i have said, my friend has really endured a long time. This relationship is no longer just a matter of happiness. Instead, it's about binding someone with fear, responsibility, and guilt over a long period. Threatening suicide, using children as bargaining chips, turning every argument into emotional blackmail—this is a slow drain on anyone. Over time, they'll slowly lose themselves.
Many people ask: For the sake of the children, should we endure it?
But the cruel truth is, will children who grow up witnessing a relationship filled with resentment, repression, and loss of control truly learn what happiness is?
If my friend wants to understand: Is there any hope for them? Is the relationship worthwhile? Would leaving the wife would truly be better for everyone? They should first give themselves some space to calmly see the true nature of this marriage.
If my friend needs a safe, non-judgmental perspective to discuss and clarify things, i can ask them to contact professional psychologist for help and support . ✨🥰
