Do not marry a man whose dad is indebted

"Girls - Do not even marry with a man whose father is indebted"

-----
My father-in-law is fifteen million yuan in debt, and my dutiful boyfriend wants us to live together after marriage.

My monthly salary is about sixty thousand yuan, and my boyfriend's monthly salary is forty three thousand yuan.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for three years, and recently my boyfriend and I had even talked about our own marriage.

With our income, we can save slowly,

and eventually buy our own little home.

Until my boyfriend hesitantly confessed:

His father's business failed, leaving him with a debt of 15 million yuan!

Now their plan is:

Sell our current house to pay off the debt,

and use the remaining money to buy a small house for his mother and his brother.

What does this mean?

It means that after marriage, we will not even be able to have our own house at all,

either we will have to squeeze into that small house together with his mother and brother,

or we will have to scrimp and save and rent a place!

I forced a smile and asked my boyfriend , with my heart sinking:

"Can we not save up to buy a house ourselves? Even if we rent first, can we at least not live together with your mom and your older brother ?"

My boyfriend, however, was completely self-righteous, my boyfriend face radiating an air of "you do not know how to be filial":

"That is my biological mom! How could I possibly abandon her?"

"My brother's income is unstable, of course I need to take care of my mom!"

"After we get married, we will work hard together, live with my mom first, and it is only right that I take care of my mom for a few years."

A few years of filial piety?

I almost laughed!

Who has ever heard such nonsense?

This so-called "a few years of filial piety" is practically a life sentence!

I can already see my future:

endless housework,

and my mother-in-law criticizing how I do it;

buying a lipstick,

a piece of clothing,

and being told that I am "wasting her son's money";

having several children, how to raise them,

and having her boss me around and interfering!

I tentatively asked him:

"If there are conflicts between you and your mother in the future, which side will you really take, or whose side will you really take?"

My boyfriend hesitated for a long time before uttering the most heart-wrenching question:

My boyfriend replied me,  "I will try my best to communicate with mom... but my mother raised me with great difficulty, so please be more accommodating to my mom."

The answer was clear and unambiguous.

In his mind, I should always give in to his mother, even if I really suffer from her libel.

I earn sixty thousand yuan a month, live alone, eat what I want, buy what I want—how comfortable is that?

Why should I jump into a fire pit of fifteen million yuan in debt and was  forced to live with my mother-in-law with  a husband who is a saint of filial piety?

Without hesitation, I broke up with my boyfriend !

My boyfriend instantly exploded, then my boyfriend started calling me materialistic and mercenary,

boyfriend Keeps on saying that I only care about money and I am very unwilling to share hardships with boyfriend.

I admit it!

I am materialistic!

But these hardships were created by his father himself; why should I bear the burden?

My love is a journey for two, not an obligation to your entire family's life!

I never belittle filial men; filial piety deserves praise.

However, a man who is so filial that he can not even distinguish right from wrong, disregards his partner's feelings, and even drags his partner into his family's filial duties—you should absolutely, positively not marry him! He will not thank you but only belittle you with his family members together
