Build a Relationship Where Respect Comes First

Love is not all that is required to comprise the basis of a healthy relationship, but an operation of respect must be incorporated in it. The passionate without a critical category of respect may end up in control or the feeling of resentment, respect brings a sense of safety, and the feeling of trust, and enduring connection. It can be seen in daily behaviour of listening, of caring about how the other person feels and of always doing what is kind rather than what is egoistic quite particularly when times are tough. Love survives when each partner secures that base and as time passes, love becomes even stronger.
