The black market dollar to naira exchange rate today Thursday 29th October 2026 has been revealed.
According to Bureau De Change operators in Lagos, Abuja and Warri, the dollar to naira is selling at a new rate today.
In Lagos black market today, dollar is selling at N1,685 per dollar and buying at N1,675 per dollar according to Aboki FX.
In Abuja, dollar is selling at N1,690 while in Warri, Delta State, dollar is selling at N1,680.
CBN official rate:
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) official rate today 29th October is N1,652 per dollar.
Why the increase?
Traders say high demand for dollar by importers and students paying school fees abroad is causing the rise.
Many Nigerians in Warri, Lagos and Onitsha have been complaining about the high rate.
