According to reports, a bomb went off in Borno State's Bama Local Government Area (LGA), killing at least nine persons.
It was Monday afternoon when the incident occurred, according to POLITICS NIGERIA.
The victims were residents of Government Girls Secondary School Bama, which is currently a camp for internally displaced people. They were scrap metal scavengers.

The capital of Borno State, Maiduguri, is 68 kilometers away from Bama.
