My Belief: Jesus is a Messenger, Not God"*

My Belief: Jesus is a Messenger, Not God"*

As a Muslim, my belief is simple and clear from the Qur’an:

*Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, is a prophet and messenger of Allah S.W.T, not God Himself.*

Surah 4:171 says “...The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah...”

This is what I was taught and what I believe. I’m not here to insult anyone’s faith. I respect that Christians believe Jesus is God and Son of God. That’s your belief.

I’m just sharing my belief because faith matters to me, the same way your faith matters to you.

*My question to everyone, especially my Christian brothers and sisters:*

Can we explain our beliefs to each other without insults? Can a Muslim say “Jesus is a prophet” and a Christian say “Jesus is God” and we still greet each other after?

Drop your thoughts below. Teach me your belief. I’ll listen with respect.
