MOVING TOWARDS PERFECTION - HIS WORK IS PERFECT

MOVING TOWARDS PERFECTION - HIS WORK IS PERFECT

Deuteronomy 32:4 (NKJV) Says; “He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.”

This verse gives us a clear picture of the nature of God. The word Rock shows us His stability, His strength, and His faithfulness. When the Bible says "His work is perfect," it means that everything He does is complete, whole, and without mistake. We may not always understand it, but His plans and works are flawless.

God always acts according to His holy standard, and His uprightness calls us to trust Him and to follow His ways. Our God is perfect. He is holy, and holiness means perfection. The Bible says: “Be holy, for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16).

Perfection has levels. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the highest level of perfection. He has preeminence in everything, and He fills all in all (Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 1:23).

The Greek word for perfect is teleios. It means complete, mature, whole, and brought to its intended end, and it does not always mean flawless.

This week, we will learn and pray about perfection in the sense of completeness, maturity, and wholeness. We will also learn and pray about the perfect plan of God for your life.

Many people dwell in imperfection and accept it because they have been deceived into thinking that it is God’s will. But the Bible says “His work is perfect”. If it is not perfect, then it is not from Him.

Some are living with a man or woman outside of marriage—that is an imperfect marriage. Some live in unfinished houses, which is an imperfection too. Some always buy second-hand things, used cars, used phones, used clothes. Others start things but never finish them. Some work for years without an employment contract. These are examples of imperfection.

Imperfection can be in many forms. But our God is a God of high standards and quality. All His works are perfect and of high quality.

It is time to set your mind to be like Him. Go for what is good and perfect in every area of your life. Don’t settle for less or for “just enough.” Our God is a God of abundance, beauty, and glory. If He dresses the lily with beauty, how much more will He give you? You should intend for the best, for that is His will for you.

Ask God today, for it is His will to give you what is best.

Prayer: Lord, perfect my life, make me whole, and give me Your best in Jesus’ name.
