Champions League night was full of drama on Wednesday October 22, with big shocks for Manchester United and relief for Arsenal.
Man United Humiliated 4-1 by Como
Manchester United suffered one of their worst defeats in 30 years, losing 4-1 to Italian side Como. Como are debutants in the Champions League but they destroyed United in the rain.
Nico Paz scored twice, Tasos Douvikas and Jacobo Ramon added others. Joshua Zirkzee scored late for United but it was too late. United have now gone 7 games without a win and manager Michael Carrick is under serious pressure.
"This performance is not acceptable," Carrick said after the game. United are now 21st in the Champions League table with just 3 points from 3 games.
In another bad news, Bruno Fernandes' £4m home in England was robbed by masked gang while he was playing in Italy. Police say jewellery was stolen.
Arsenal Fight Back to Draw 2-2 at Bayern Munich
Arsenal showed fighting spirit in Germany. Eberechi Eze, who replaced injured Bukayo Saka early, gave Arsenal the lead. Alphonso Davies equalised before half time, then Harry Kane scored penalty to make it 2-1 to Bayern.
But Declan Rice scored in 82nd minute to rescue 2-2 draw for Arsenal. Arsenal now have 7 points from 3 games.
Big worry for Arsenal: Bukayo Saka injured his quad after 10 minutes and is having a scan today. Arteta said "it doesn't look good at all." He could miss the Everton game on Saturday.
