Lamine Yamal was on fire last night as Barcelona beat Galatasaray 4-1 in the Champions League at Camp Nou.
The 19-year-old winger did not score, but he gave 2 assists and created 6 chances - more than the whole Galatasaray team combined. He assisted Fermin Lopez and Ferran Torres for the second and third goals.
Before the match, Galatasaray midfielder Mario Lemina said in interview "Who is Lamine Yamal? I don't know him." That comment made Yamal angry.
After the 4-1 win, Yamal posted his Man of the Match award on Instagram with caption "Does he know me now?" The post has over 2 million likes already.
Even Victor Osimhen who now plays for Galatasaray could not save them. After the match, Osimhen helped Yamal take picture with a Nigerian journalist. The video is trending on X now.
Barcelona coach Hansi Flick said after the game "It's incredible to have players like that, he's turned the game around for us."
