In the Yoruba village of Igbade, the aging King Oba Adedayo prepares his son, Prince Adekunle, to take the throne. While the king blesses his son’s future, Chief Olowu secretly plots to control the young prince once he becomes king. The ambitious chief believes the crown will give him true power over the village. Meanwhile, Chief Olowu’s daughter, Amara, falls in love with Prince Adekunle despite knowing her father’s hatred toward him. Her friend Ayo warns her of the danger, but Amara’s heart remains loyal to the prince. At the same time, Sade, the daughter of the palace guard, cautions Adekunle to beware of hidden enemies in the village. As the king grows weaker, Chief Olowu begins to show his true intentions, confronting Adekunle and demanding his obedience. The prince refuses, choosing to serve his people rather than the corrupt chief. That night, Amara realizes her father’s dark side and silently vows to stand with the prince, even if it costs her everything.
