Stop expecting the worst: Not every Friendship Is Meant to Hurt Yo

Sometimes, the reason it feels like your friendships don’t last or you're not making friends easily is because you’re always expecting something bad to happen. I mean you're always expecting the negative, and this is mostly as a result of past traumas or failed friendships. You assume people will disappoint you eventually or the friendship will not work.

One thing about this is that, when your mind is always expecting failure or anything negative, it will reflect and even the smallest mistake from someone may suddenly look so big and then you start to judge them, based on your past experiences or what you have heard.

Yes, I know people are unpredictable.

Yes, people can change.

Yes, you've been hurt before.

But that doesn't mean you should judge every friendship using your fears or past pain. Not every friendship will end the same way the past one ended.

So, just let the friendship be.

It might last and it might not, but don’t let fear ruin or keep running what could turn out beautiful.

Live in the moment.

Condition your mind to focus on how to make the friendship better.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

You deserve good friendships, stop expecting the worst.
