Everyone is looking for love, but not everyone knows what real love looks like.
Real love is not about how much money he has in his account or how expensive her wig is. Real love is that feeling of peace. It is that person you can call at 2 AM when the world feels heavy, and they will still pick up.
I saw a couple yesterday at the beach. They were not doing too much. No expensive car, no designer clothes. They were just holding hands, looking into each other's eyes and smiling. The way he looked at her, you could tell that she is his safe place. And the way she smiled, you could tell that he is her home.
In this generation of talking stages, ghosting, and breakup on WhatsApp status, finding someone who genuinely cares about your mental health is rare.
If you have that person who checks on you, who prays for you, who asks you 'have you eaten?' not because they want something, but because they care - please don't play with that person.
True love is not loud. It does not need to post on Instagram every day to prove a point. True love is consistent. It is choosing each other every day, even on the bad days.
So to anyone reading this who has given up on love because of heartbreak, don't give up. Your own person is coming. The one who will bring you peace, not confusion. The one who will love you softly and correctly.
Real love still exists. I saw it yesterday at the beach at sunset.
