Have you ever hard of the Acheron River?
It is located in the Epirus region of northwest Greece. It is 52Km long.It is believed that in the river Acheron were located the gates to the underworld.
It went underground in several places. It was originally called the River of pain not the Acheron. Some of the myths about it is that people believed their were souls of dead people in it that were entering the underworld through those "gates".
It was said to be a green river.
