There are some things they don’t teach you about love. Like how your blood type could mess everything up.

I’m Rhesus Negative. He’s Positive. We didn’t even know what that meant at first — until the day he said, “I’m scared we can’t be together because of this.”

My heart broke in silence. I didn’t even know whether to cry, shout, or explain.

I started researching — what it meant for pregnancy, Rhogam injections, compatibility. I learned so much in one week, you’d think I was preparing for a medical degree. But no matter what I said, he was still distant.

I didn’t ask to be born with Rh-negative blood. And I definitely didn’t ask to feel like a walking red flag in someone else’s eyes.

But you know what? I didn’t let that crush me.

I realized if someone is meant for you, they’ll choose you — not run away when things get real. Love is more than just butterflies and selfies. Sometimes, love is science. And sometimes, love is patience.

So here I am, healing, understanding my body better, and building a future where I’ll be loved fully — blood type and all.

To every girl going through something similar:

You are not a problem. You are powerful, beautiful, and worthy of love that understands you completely.
