Homemade Oatmeal Cake Recipe

Looking for a simple, delicious, and wholesome treat? This homemade oatmeal cake is perfect for breakfast, a snack, or dessert. It’s soft, flavorful, and packed with the natural goodness of oats and raisins.

🧂 Ingredients

  • 4 cups of oats (quick-cook or traditional)

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 cups of sugar (adjust to your taste)

  • 2 cups of milk

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • 1 cup of dried raisins

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

  • ½ cup of vegetable oil

🥣 Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, soak the oats in milk for about 10 minutes. This helps soften the oats and gives a creamy texture.

  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth.

  3. Combine the egg mixture with the soaked oats and stir until fully blended.

  4. Add the raisins and cinnamon powder, then mix again until everything is evenly combined.

🔥 Baking Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Pour the mixture into a greased baking tray or lined pan.

  3. Bake for about 45 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  4. Allow it to cool slightly before serving.

🍰 Enjoy!

Serve warm with a drizzle of honey or a scoop of yogurt on the side. It’s a comforting, easy-to-make recipe that fills your kitchen with a wonderful aroma.
