Who doesnt want to be loved?( I know I do). It's such a beautiful feeling. Growing up watching telenovellas and fairy tales have made me a romance addict.

However many times relationships have issues. We've even seen people kill each other over love. Day in day out we see reports of abuse in relationships that some of us have feared even getting married.

Do you think lovers kill each other overnight? It always starts with very small issues that escalate. With this in mind lets use the list below as an individual checker.

Signs of toxicity.

1. Overly jealous and possesive.

Jealousy is kinda cute at first. However cutting one of from friends, invading their space in the name of jealousy is plain toxic. Love does not envy. If your guilty of this you need to work on your insecurities.

2. Fears their partner trying new things and new ventures.

Has your partner suggested something new and before reconsidering it you either assumed or just didnt give a chance? Well I hate to say that's toxic.

3. No communication.

Are you the kind who avoids communication? Lack of proper communication channels kill relationships in so many ways. Its the fuel that causes toxicity.

4. Disrespect.( Yes, some jokes that make you feel undervalued are signs)

You ever joked how fat your partner is? Jokes that make your partner feel undervalued makes you toxic.

5. Fishy financial behaviours

This one goes without saying. Stinginess is a redflag for toxic people. My boyfriend was the type who if you needed something he'd go with you to buy but would never give you cash. Well it was sweet at first but soon it became really annoying. That was extremely toxic.

If you or your partner have these signs then try working out issues.
