*2. Local farms near you - Buy straight from source*
Stop buying yams from shop. Ask any keke man for "farm wey near here". Yam wey be ₦3,000 for market na ₦1,800 for farm. Same with plantain and potatoes. If you buy once a month, you save ₦15,000.
*3. Daleko Market, Mushin - Best for rice and beans*
Go after 4pm when dem wan close. One painter of rice na ₦3,200 instead of ₦4,000 for morning. Beans too dey cheaper for evening. My neighbor don save ₦9,000 this month just by going late.
*4. WhatsApp farm groups - Join one today*
Search Facebook for "Farm Produce Lagos" or "Abuja Foodstuff Direct". Farmers dey post every day. Chicken wey be ₦8,000 for market, dem dey sell am ₦5,500. No middleman, no extra cost.
*5. Buy "ugly" fruits and vegetables*
Orange wey bend small or tomato wey no too red dey 50% cheaper. Taste na the same. Most sellers sell am as "reduce to clear" after 5pm. Go that time. You go save ₦3,000 every week.
*My biggest tip:* Stop buying small small every day. Buy bulk once, store am well. One woman for my street buy one bag of beans ₦65,000. E don last her 4 months. If she buy small small, she for spend ₦90,000.
